SOE Career PET-Parent

 

Calling all animal lovers! Are you the type of person who wants, or has, so many pets, that others accuse you of running an animal shelter? Are you drawn to, and find contentment in, caring for animals? Do you think nurturing the care, and development, of animals in need of a good home, is something you could do for a living? If so, then becoming an SOE Career PET-Parent could be your calling!

 

Whenever a pet, which belongs to someone in the SOE Global Network, is brought in to the SOE Veterinary Clinic to be put up for adoption, after examination, and/or treatment, SOE Career Pet-Parents are called in to house, and take over the care of, the pet. As the Veterinary Division of SOE Clinics, world-wide, has its own Animal Shelter & Rescue Department, SOE Career Pet-Parents are also called in when there is a case of suspected pet-abuse. Depending on the outcome of the pet-abuse investigation, the SOE Career Pet-Parent must be prepared to house/take over the care of the pet on either a temporary, or permanent, basis.

 

All SOE Career Pet-Parents must be citizens of only one (1) country. One single Career Pet-Parent can have up to six (6) animals in their home at a time; a couple of SOE Career Pet-Parents can have up to ten (10) animals in their home at a time. While SOE Career Parents (those who foster children) may also be SOE Career Pet-Parents, the number of animals allowed within the home could be affected/determined by the number, and ages, of the children within the home.  SOE Career Pet-Parents get to decide whether their number of allowed animals applies to one (1), two (2), three (3), or more, animal species, as well as which specific animal species they want to house/care for.

 

For example: one single SOE Career Pet-Parent might decide that they only want to house/care for ONE animal species, and so, has space available in their home for six (6) of the same species of animal, like: six (6) cats, or six (6) dogs; whereas another single SOE Career Pet-Parent could decide they want to house/care for TWO animal species, and so, has space available in their home for six (6) animals of two different species, like: three (3) cats, and three (3) dogs, or any other division of six (6) animals between two specified species; and finally, a third single SOE Career Pet-Parent might decide they want to house/care for FIVE animal species, and so, has space available in their home for six (6) animals of five different species, like: two (2) dogs, one (1) cat, one (1) bird, one (1) guinea pig, and one (1) turtle, or any other division of six (6) animals across five specified species. The same is applied to SOE Career Pet-Parent couples, as the couple must decide how many animal species, and which specific species, out of their ten (10) animal limit, they wish to house, and care for.

 

SOE Career Pet-Parents must pass annual criminal, and psychiatric, background checks, and Pet-Parenting-Skills tests. SOE Career Pet-Parents must also adhere to frequent, routine Animal-Care Site-Visits, as well as participate in mandatory ongoing training courses, like: Pet Discipline, and Pet-C.P.R. SOE Career Pet-Parents are moved into their very own modular, sustainably-built, pet-friendly homes - designed, and furnished, to the home-owner’s specific-tastes, in a newly-erected, pet-friendly community. Each full-time SOE Career Pet-Parent is paid a salary, separate from funds provided for Pet-Care - which is deposited separately.

• *1-3 Species* SOE Career PET-Parent = 75,000$t./yr (paid bi-monthly)

 

• *4+ Species* SOE Career PET-Parent = 95,000$t./yr (paid bi-monthly)
